With Skinny, Or Fatt Fries. Ask your Server for Descriptions. Simply, You Can't Go Wrong! The Best Mule In Town!. James Bond's Favorite Cocktail. A Blend Of Gin, St. My husband and I enjoyed a very quiet corner by the fireplace where we could talk, and I could read to him, as we love to do during quiet periods during a long dinner. The food choices were amazing, but not such an overwhelming amount of choices that you couldn't decide what you wanted to eat, as I find it difficult in some restaurants, and the portions are generous but the staff is helpful so you don't order more than you can eat or need.
Waitress was very attentive, but never hovering and was very accommodating when we asked to speak to the manager just so we could compliment him. A very wonderful evening indeed. Highly recommend going there. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the excellent service. I highly recommend for an evening out with friends or on a date. It has a relaxed atmosphere and a comfortable feel. One of my favorites. Always try to take my out of town guests there for dinner and they always want to go back.
Food was good, service was pleasant but slow. Poor service and mediocre food. Halibut was dry, over cooked. Crab cakes all filler and little crab.
No recognition of our special occasion at all. Did I mention also overpriced. There are too many great restaurants in Fort Worth to bother with this place again. It has been years since we dined at Michael's. The last time, my wife had pumpkin seed crusted fish. The pumpkin seed was not roasted and my wife told the server she scraped them off and the fish was good. We paid for the meal, never said a bad word about it and tipped the server generously.
Unfortunately, as we were walking out of the bar area, where we ate, Michael called out from behind the bar: He spoke loudly, so everyone could hear. We vowed never to go back.
We should have stuck to our vow. The service this time was very good as usual. The food was awful. The sauce on my steak tasted exactly like the sauce on my wife's crab cakes. How the place stays open is a mystery. Service was excellent, as well as the food! The wine selection was also very good. Food was very good - portions just right! Our waiter David was wonderful and attentive. The noise level was caused by our rowdy table. A place for great food, good vibe, and connecting w friends! My husband and I celebrated a birthday here on Thursday evening.
It was not busy, and was nice and quiet. The server was very attentive and friendly. I had a caesar salad and the pecan crusted goat cheese chicken. Both were good, but honestly, not great. The rolls were light and delicious with real butter, and the steamed vegetables with my chicken were fresh. My husband had the halibut which he loved. I ordered a hot mocha after dinner which was a nice touch.
I would recommend for the atmosphere and overall experience. Excellent food and service. Great food, prepared a little different than typical restaurants. Great location, excellent food and service was solid as always. As always, the food, service and staff were great. We loved our waitress from Poland.
She is first class, very knowledgeable and friendly. And she knew her stuff. She even showed us a picture of the special - nice touch. We had a dinner reservation for four to celebrate a birthday. Started with speciality cocktails in the bar before dinner, which was nice. Moved to the dining room and ordered a nice wine and appitizers.
My husband said his tortilla soup was the best he has ever had and the quail appitizers was excellent. All four of us were very pleased. We booked a party there for Christmas. We were a little concerned when we arrived because there were very few cars in the parking lot on a Saturday night.
Walked in and there were very few people seated in the restaurant. Had a little trouble ordering - asked the waiter if there were any other choices besides mashed potatoes and he said I could have a salad but it would be an upcharge.
Told him a salad would be fine. It took about 20 minutes to get our salads. In the meantime an older couple who had been seated at the table next to us got their food and she had french fries so we tracked the waiter down and asked if I could get french fries and he said yes I could. When salads arrived, we had to ask for bread and he said he would put it in.
The bread arrived with no butter - finally found the waiter and asked for butter. When the bread arrived it appeared that someone had been sitting on the rolls as they were completely flat although they tasted fine. All of the people that were eating at this restaurant appeared to know each other.
The waiter asked them if they would like bread when they ordered and gave other choices of sides which we were not given. BTW - This is the first negative review I have ever given in my entire life. You should try it. Just a little disappointing. No one was in the restaurant when we arrived so they seat the next party right next to us?
Service was friendly but a bit lacking. No tea till halfway through meal, busy with other table which meant no one to clear ours of dirty plates.
CFS was great, steak was okay, crab cakes were crab less. Only option for iced tea was mango flavored. It was okay, just was a bit surprised. Been to Michael's many times. The food is outstanding and the service is great. The creative sides are unique and tasty. Staff was very attentive and helpful.
The restaurant was not very busy and unfortunately the wait staff was terrible with time management and took forever for the basics.
Had to ask for simple things such as bread and butter. Began with the soup, which was spicy but other than that no great flavors, the very basic salad was the best thing I had on a plus.. I however, had the swordfish and could not eat more than four bites due to the red sauce poured over it that had both crab and sausage.
I think that is a personal preference but really dislike sausage with my blackened fish.. We were hoping for a new spot but I will tell you I will never return here again. Michaels Cuisine has a unique, local vibe that reflects Fort Worth culinary tradition with a modern, creative touch. Michael's Valentines Menu was outstanding! The best oysters I've ever had! Valentine dinner and it was awesome. We had a swordfish dinner that was not the quality that we expected./p>
